I am trying to find a way to make some extra income from home, doing something I love. Of course, disney is the first thing that came to my mind. I would love to help plan Disney and other vacations, especially those on a budget. What are your thoughts? Anyone have any experience working from home making a little extra income that could provide some much needed coaching???

I am a TA working from home so I have some insight. Think about how you are going to market yourself to keep gaining new clients.

If you are looking to earn commissions you need to sign up with a host agency or sign up for your own TRUE number. I'm with Travel Planners Inernational and they provide great service and fast payments. They also supply you with E&O insurance.

Its also a good idea to go through Disney College of Knowledge to get as much info as well. I did it and earned Mickey ears with mortar board!! PM me if you want more info or have questions!

I actually looked into this recently. In my case there was an agency that would provide me with leads but I also would have to build up my client list on my own. They wanted $400 to train me, I would have to have a fax machine, a dedicated phone line and there were some other start up expenses. I decided not to do it mostly because I already have a full time job and was looking for something to do part time on the side. I thought the start up costs were too much for me to proceed with it.
