We're Back....sorry to say but our 20th anniv. came and went too fast at Disney!
Won't go into all the details, but we did have a wonderful trip...
On the 20, we left Southaven, MS for our start - deciding to stop in Tallahassee. We always Know something will happen, and it did..lol..we had a 'blow-out' going 70mph in the left lane. After an hour and a half and then 2 more hours trying to find tires our size for an suv, we were on our way again...Until the toddler gets sick (yes, it's dark, raining and we're in podunkville with no place to pull over)...We are having so much fun at this point...
But, after staying up all night, checking on the local of Tallahasse hospitals (thinking the dd might have a bacterial infection) we go on to CBR on the 21.
Check in is smooth, we get a corner room, 2 stand. beds, perfect for a walk over Parrot Cay, pool and bus pick-up.
We head to Chef Mickeys at 7:00. Again not to be disappointed, it's great fun although we did notice alot of people eating off the food bar even though they had not been seated at tables yet (ugh!) They were walking around eating cheeses and meats as though they were appetizers for the taking...very poor taste I thought....But hey, we still loved seeing all the characters!
Tomorrow we were off to the MK, (yes we knew Sat. were killer days at the park, but its our tradition to go there first).
Sat. -
Head to MK, not the early hour but that's o.k. . Weather very nice, park crowds moderate, heat ok. Loved finding hidden Mickeys at different spots, absolutely LOVED Mickeys Philarmagic ....a must for everyone. Stayed til about 5 pm, but was so tired from the nite before, went back and ate at the CBR food court.
Sun. - early day as dh and ds have segway tour...A MUST for anyone! I will be doing it asap! They had a ball! Took photos, got special pins that you only get when you book the tour! Wonderful experience. Dd and I saw the Jammitors again....great, talented fellows... Another must see!
Don't want to bore ya'll , will give you day 3-7 later. You must hear our cm story...poor Frank at MK on Wed.
