"going to DD12's concert"

DS Why didn't you tell me!
I would have asked girl.friend to come!


umm because I thought you would want to stay home yourself...
DS went, we picked up girl.friend and took her too


Is girl.friend into music? I ask?

DS looks "no, why"

He has made it to girl.friend

What did you get her for Christmas? Yes, it is now required.

Wishing all of you a warm, safe, terrific Thursday!

It's a rainy, windy, raw day here in NY. The temperatures are over 20 degrees lower than they were at this time yesterday. We're expecting snow overnight and then a warmup over the weekend. This is the craziest December weather I remember having, in a long time.

work with what you got

myhair is usually poker straight
and holds a curl for about four minutes
but bed head is a powerful thing...

This shocks me on several levels. First, she could have sold that stuff on Ebay! Second, I am sure your mom's stuff was in better shape than Uncle George's! Third, I am against spring cleaning, just on principle.

We are all convinced that Uncle George is the favorite child so it is no surprise that Grandma kept all of his toys Plus I don't think Ebay was around when Grandma did here spring cleaning!


And ITA spring cleaning is just wrong

I knew there was a reason I decided to go into teaching

So....today in Kindergarten I was in charge of having all the kids glitter snow flakes...one by one they came over and I made a fun design in glue...they then proceeded to shake the glitter bottel with all their might all over the table...this went on for the entire hour and 15 minutes that I was there I have glittler in places I didn't know it could go On a bright note though the teacher said that our class would have the nicest snow flakes out of all 5 kindergartens
