Home again... highs and lows

Hi all, we got home yesterday evening from our trip with no husbands or kids. We had an absolute blast and we all got to do "firsts" though 3 out of 4 of us had been before at least twice. I'll hopefully do a proper trip report before I forget it all, so for now here are the highs and lows..

Highs:
Excellent weather - mostly dry, bright autumn weather
Duping my friends into going on btm ("it's harmless! Just a bit fast!") and then listening to them screech.
The Halloween decorations were fab.
Seeing Jack and Sally.
Doing tot for the first time.
Shopping!!
Lunch/dinner in Cafe Agrabah.
Dreams!!!! Just.... stunning.

...and many more, too many to mention.

The Lows
Crowds and queues, though in fairness it's a busy time!
The walking!! None of us could walk by day 3! (Not Disney's fault though). Our hotel was much further than I had thought (adagio)
Trip was too short - only 2 nights.

Can't really think of anything else, my sister might chime in if she gets a chance.

Just got back too! It was very busy and cold. Park was looking great though and I was so pleased it stayed dry!

It wasn't so much the feet were sore, it was more the legs were tired and stiff..
In all honesty, it was fine, it was a minor discomfort in the grand scale of things.. I was struggling to think of lows to be honest!

Another high - breakfast in the disneyland hotel. We did it the first morning and enjoyed it so much we did it the next day too... it was my first time in the dlh and it really, really put the longing on me to stay there some day. At the very latest I'll go for my 40th in a little over 3 years.. time to start saving.

But sooooo worth it - they didn't trust us about anything after that I was laughing so hard, I couldn't breath but managed to point out the view of the castle from the top as we went around, my friend's reply isn't repeatable

I also came off Space Mountain laughing at Tink'sMum's reaction (a first for both of us) - she staggered over to the railing and the CM came over to check that she was OK after getting off.

I agree that the lows were few and far between. I really recommend that every one does an adult only trip at some point
