thanks goodness i booked our 2 cars for me and my brothers families....

eqnox (sp?) suv 8 nites 3 days ago booking price $243.42 with taxes with costco coupons

today (i always check prices) same suv same coupons same time:$359.55 wow this suv jumped $116 and change in 3 days.

btw,,,, this car rental is for aug 28 to sept 5 this is crazy glad i booked my
suv's and locked in their prices.

It is funny how the prices go up and down. I always give my self a price and book when I find around that price. Then I keep checking (several times daily most days) and if I get a cheaper rate, I book that one, and cancel the first one. I keep doing this up until we leave. Last time we went I started with prices over $450 and ended up getting a mini van for $270.

they love jerking us around, lol, I want the ones past 6/27 to come out, soon. I have about 4 different ones rented dropping off at different places cause I have no idea when or from where I am coming home, lol

I know what you mean. I booked a Chevy Trailblazer for 10 days. First it was $372 (included taxes and all the fees), then it went down to $310 and Sat. I saw it go down again to $293.00 which is what I have it booked at now. I check every day just to see if it goes down.

I wish I would have been lucky last year. We also got $29 DING fares this year. Last year we ended paying more, but I leabered my lesson.

Keep checking, I was able to get a rate of $210 with taxes and fees for a full size SUV during school vacation week in Feb from Alamo. It may go down. Good luck to you!!

We were lucky to get a mid-size SUV for $104/week for our upcoming trip in May. We find you have to be diligent and keep checking ... rates go up and down quite often and a lot depends on the dates you are traveling.
