I heard it is raining falling iguanas in Florida from the low temps. Anyone in the Dis Family hit by one yet?
Sounds really yucky to me, worse the rolling over in the motel and looking a lizard in the eyes as he tonges me.

"Experts say the cold-blooded reptiles go into a deep sleep when the temperature falls into the 40s. Their bodies basically shut off and they lose their grip on the tree"

I have no idea, but the thought is pretty funny. Just your title gave me a smile. I'm sure if I saw one, I'd scream, then laugh hysterically.:rotfl2:
Hope it doesn't hurt them, though.

We saw this on the news the other day. It cracked me up once I found out that the lizards are okay once they thaw out!

Gosh, I freaked at the salamader size thing sticking her forked tonge at me with the beady eyes first thing in the morning.
I can't even imagine walking a path and having a gila monster size thing hit me in the head.

I guess it is starting to warm up down south now and thawing them out.....
I get the shivers just thinking about them though.

I hate spiders and snakes, 2 ft long lizards are right up there too! :upsidedow
