Guess my mother will have to be on the lookout for mine. I filed my claim in January 2008, before I met DH. So if I do get one...it's going to my mother's house, in my former name! *fingers crossed anyway*

The varying amounts of refunds interested me, and I wanted to see what the settlement was all about, so I googled. And found:

"Payments were calculated based on several factors, including how much you paid, the quantity and quality of the diamonds you purchased, the amount of money that is available for your Class or Sub-class, and how many Class Members filed claims."

So that explains the varying refund amounts.

Glad I saw this yesterday. We got a check today and I called to let DH know and he couldn't even remember filing it was so long ago and thought it was a scam until I told him it was for real. Just in time, too, camp payment for the kids due this week!

We moved last year, so I assumed that we wouldn't be getting anything since it would go to our old address. We got the check yesterday, and somehow they sent it to the new address.

Now I'm just waiting on my Cold Eeze windfall and I can retire
