Guess I should stop complaining about how much I paid for airfare. When Southwest first released their dates for October I booked and paid $319 a person, round trip. Those same flights would now cost $519 each!!!:scared::sad2::scared:

So I'm thinking hoping for them to drop is pretty pointless. But still, there is no way I would have paid $519. Glad I listened to my nephew and booked.

We booked a trip for May at double what I paid in February, but still very cheap. I was still worried and wondering if I should have waited thinking it might have gone back down, but it doubled yet again so I know I made the right choice. All in all we still got a great rate, but since I'm planning to go on at least 3 separate small trips this year I have to keep it as cheap as possible.

Now, I just have to remind myself to stop looking because if I see the prices drop lower than what I paid it's only going to upset me. No point worrying about it now.

For the 1st time in over 10 years we are not going to fly Southwest--The prices are crazy!!
I bought Non-stop airfare with Frontier Airlines and even though they made me pay for each little thing,
check bag, seating ect.,it still only cost me $262 RT with SW Non-stop it was going to cost around $550 RT.
Plus, I was surprised about the arrival times with Frontier are better than the SW times.

So where are you Flying from & to where. ?

I could say that I am paying € 600 ( Euros ) per person but what I did not mention is that Fare is from

Dublin Ireland but it might have been from Amsterdam ( which is 50 Euros extra )

I'm flying from Grand Rapids Michigan. The highest I have ever paid before is $260 a person. $319 seemed high, $519 is ridiculous.

My flight prices for June just dropped by almost half today, at a peak time of year....just 8 weeks out. I would not discount them dropping for your trip :) I was pleased to get back about 10,000 points today!
