Mama Melrose's--I prefer a sit down meal over a palin (non-character) buffet. Though they will have preschool characters at Breakfast and Lunch, but htis doesn't appeal to us.

We were at Hollywood and Vine in 2001 and thought it was the worst meal we had eaten all week in WDW. The food in the buffet was just awful.

Two years ago, we ate at Mama Melroses and LOVED it. The food was great! There was a good selection for our 3 kids to choose from.

H&V, love it! MM, we had the WORST experience there and my kids hated the food, it was too spicy for them (the pasta sauce) so the three of us split my dinner. We never had a bad experience at H&V, and there are lots of choices.

I Was Getting Ready To Post This Same Question. I Just Made Adr's For The Fantasmic Pkg At Mm And Was Hoping I Made The Right Choice. Only Time I Could Get Was 4:00. The Cm Said That Mm Was More Popular Than H&v, Hence The Early Adr. Anyway, Let's See What Everyone Has To Say.

OK, well firsts do check the menus at www.allearsnet.com that always helps our family make descions...

2nd about a Fantasmic Dinner Pkg reservation - its typical they give you very early times... you can call back 60 or 30 days before and Studios releases more times - after they post the Fantasmic times esp (they dont want you to be late, if Fantasmic is showing at 7 they want you out of the restaurant at 6, so they want your ressies around 5... )

(oh and PS at H&V there is always a line for your adr times, you will wait 20 min or so, at the later times.... I thought to try an early adr and then pick up sandwiches later, or snack in our room on some of our left over 'free food'!!) I just didnt like the 'rush' I felt having a 5:30 adr, and I hated waiting for our table 20 min seemed like a long time!!)
