Hollywood & Vine question.

I asked a question about characters at Hollywood & Vine yesterday. Went to book a lunch reservation this morning and it says there are no characters for lunch? I swore I saw somewhere on Disney's website that the characters were there for lunch? Anyone had lunch there recently and were there characters there? I wonder if it's changing? I did email Disney ... we'll see how long it takes to hear back.

Hi! It is the Play and Dine at Lunch!!! for Hollywood & Vine. We went there last year and really enjoyed the food and the characters.

We were down in April and did the Play & Dine...June & Leo from Little Einsteins was there and also JoJo and Goliath from JoJo's Circus.

The new ADR site has has a few issues in regards to correct character dining experiences (see the thread about questioning if LTT had characters again). They should be present as there has been no indication otherwise that this would change. Of course, calling WDW to confirm could also work, but the CMs there aren't always accurate (some may just read the page and give you that answer (again, see the aforementioned LTT thread).

I believe that Goliath has now been replaced with Handy Manny since early-mid May or so. (Or it may have been late-April... there were threads on it too).

My husband did call this morning and they said that yes, there are characters at lunch. We're booked!
