Hollywood & Vine Playhouse Disney?

We've done a breakfast at Hollywood & Vine before. We really enjoyed it, wasn't so noisy, great food...etc etc. I noticed that Agent Oso and Handy Manny have taken the place of Jojo and Goliath. Which is very interesting (in a good way). However, I know here in Canada Playhouse Disney is becoming Disney Jr is it not? So will this impact the restaurant and character selection?

Playhouse Disney is already Disney Jr in the states. It changed over a few months ago and the stage show at DHS was rebranded but it has not effected the characters at H&V.

Right, I heard about the stage show... what is it now? Glad we saw the Playhouse show last year...even though the sitting on the floor was not fun. Ok, might have to keep our reservation for H&V then, kids will like to meet Agent Oso and Handy Manny i am sure. (they've already met Leo and June)

The stage show is the same except Jake and the Neverland Pirates have replaced My Friends Tigger and Pooh. We thought Oso and Manny were fantastic!

Because H&V is usually only partly filled, you get the best character interaction of any restaurant - the characters will linger at your table and probably stop by more than once. Plus the periodic dancing is a big hit with the little ones.

Buffet breakfasts are pretty standard throughout the World, and H&V is average in that regard. But if you like the characters (and my 17 year old DD loves Special Agent Oso), it's a must do.

I'm planning on booking this because of the character changes, sounds great to me! Oso is a huge hit in my house! Now if they only added Phineas & Ferb...

Glad to know Handy Manny will be there! My 2 smaller kids love him. We basically booked this ressie for early entry into the park...looks like it will be a good choice! Thanks for all the info!
