Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic dinner

We are planning on booking the H&V Fantasmic package. When I check for January (available through the 7th right now), all I see are lunch, no availability for dinner at all. I see the dinner price in the description, and on our last trip we made reservations for dinner (we are not crazy about the characters for lunch). Does it open up later due to Fantasmic? It has been years since I booked a Fantasmic one, so can't remember back that far. Or do I even need to worry in January? Just don't want to spend ages in line.

Disney's site no longer shows a H&V dinner schedule starting on 11/7. Not sure if this is because they are getting rid of dinner altogether or if they are making a change to dinner starting that day. Maybe someone else has more info but I haven't been able to find a straight answer anywhere.

Yes, you can't even see H&V dinner at all after the 7 th, it's not even an option to check for, even without the fantastic package. They are either getting rid of it, or hopefully announcing something new

I called and spoke with a CM re reservations there for dinner around Christmastime because I wasn't seeing any dinner times. She told me that location is going to be hosting a holiday character dinner in December and into the new year. Don't quote me but I want to say it is going to be called Minnie's Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine. Trying to remember what she said the characters were. I know it was Minnie, Mickey, Donald and Daisy, but I can't recall if she said the fifth character was Pluto or Goofy. She didn't have confirmed prices yet. She said they should be finished loading the times into the dining system soon so it can be booked.

Well, that just ruined my theory. I was really hoping for a Star Wars dinner to celebrate the release of the new movie. I still think that's a smarter idea since there are plenty of character meals with the classic characters but nobody at Disney asked me

I called yesterday and was told basically the same thing. November is pretty much the same way, nothing open past 2:30. She said she has a feeling that all reservations had not been opened up on several restaurants...hhhmmmm....
