Kenny the pirate says H&V has characters at ALL meals ... can anyone else attest to them being at dinner? Anyone happen to offhand know current dinner prices? I am wondering if we can do a character meal there and also do the Fantasmic package.

We had breakfast at H & V in 2007 and found it to be very mediocre. I wasn't planning to eat there again. However I JUST read today that it is the only place to see Little Einsteins characters. It's my 2.5 years olds favorite show and I have been talking them up and showing her pictures of her older sister with them assuming we could see them at their regular meet and greet. Now that I know we can no longer do that - I am thinking about canceling our dinner reservation at 50's primetime and eating at H&V instead. I suppose we could also do breakfast or lunch and then eat counter service for dinner too.

When we went there for dinner a few years ago there were no characters. In my opinion the food is horrible! Hands down the worst I've had at WDW. We will definitly never go back there again!

Well I called to ask and the agent on the phone said no characters at dinner.
Also in case anyone is interested I did ask about pricing and here is the current for non peak times - I am guessing this is post-tax since that seems to be what they usually give on the phone.
brkfast A- $27 k- $15
lunch A- $31 k- $17
dinner A- $31 k-$16

Prices seem high for the food quality. I guess I just need to debate if my daughter seeing these characters is important enough to change our plans. Right now if I ask who she wants to see she just says Mickey mouse and Minnie mouse - but who knows what she'll be saying in May.

Another conundrum .....

So I am debating going for breakfast. We can get an 8:00 - with the park opening at 9. This is our very first park day .... so getting there super early isn't a bad thing because we'll be super excited and all - BUT this will be my youngest daughter (almost 3) first experience with characters. I don't think she will be afraid of them but who knows. Is it better to have her first experience with her favorites?
