Hollywood & Vine breakfast

Hello - I am considering our first character breakfast for our upcoming trip. With DH DS3 and DS4. And had a few questions.....What characters are currently at the Hollywood & Vine breakfast? Are there photo pass photographers at the breakfast? How much time should be alloted? Is an 8:40a res possible with a 9:05-10:05 midway mania fp+?

You should typically allow 90 minutes for a character buffet with small children. You can probably make TSMM if you get your bill when you first sit down.

I think the characters right now are Jake, Sofia, Doc McStuffins and Handy Manny.

I have never seen a photopass photographer at a character meal, but it has been a couple years since we did one. We usually allow 90 minutes from the time we are seated. Sometimes it takes less time, and you can always leave before you see all the characters if you choose. I think you could make the fp, but it would be closer to 10:05 than 9:05.

There aren't photopass photographers at H & V breakfast. You are free to take your own pictures.
They are the disney junior characters as mentioned by a previous poster.
For the Minnie's dinner there was one. You take a photopass pic with one character before you are seated
then the other characters come around to your table. Santa Goofy was the character for the Holiday dine dinner in December.

We went in June and were the first family in for a prepark opening breakfast. We met Sofia, Jake, Doc McStuffins, and Handy Manny. We were done in less than an hour and were the first family on Toy Story mania when the park opened. No photopass photographer there. My hubby stayed at the table while I went and filled plates for the kids. We were lucky in our seating as we were the first table the characters saw when they came to our side.

We had an 8 AM ADR and were done right after 9 when we went. It was our favorite ADR! The then 3 year old loved meeting all his favorite Disney Jr Characters. He still talks about it now, a year and a half later.

we had H/V breakfast this past January 2016 and it was the disney jr characters sofia, jake, doc and manny. there aren't any photopass photographers but the wait staff was more than willing to take family photos with our cell phones. Plus the characters will sign autographs and take individual pictures with the kids also. They'll do anything at WDW! I would budget 90 minutes for all 4 characters to go around the restaurant
