Hollywood & Vine and 1900 Park Fare

Need a little advice

Its time to make by ADR's for our family trip in November. We are planning on going to the character meal buffet 1900 Park Fare one night for dinner. I'd like to also book the fantasmic dinner one night.

Now my question how similar are the hollywood & vine and 1900 Park Fare dinner buffets? Are they basically the same? would I be better off at Mama Melrose at MGM?

Well, they are both buffets with similar yet some different offerings but 1900 is a character meal. Cinderella at dinner.

I do H&V for Fantasmic just because it's the cheapest and I have kids but we did try MM last year and it was a nice change.
