Hollywood to Epcot?

What's the best way to get from Disney Hollywood to Epcot? We want to eat at Chefs de France after Fantasmic which starts at 6:30. What time should we make our reservations?

Is there any good website that shows best transportation routes and the time it typically takes to get from point A to point B using Disney transportation?

Friendship boat or walk. Either will take about 20 minutes. The park to park bus from Studios goes to the front of EPCOT making you have to walk to France.

Since you want to go to France walking or the boat are your best options since the bus will drop you off at the front of Epcot.The walk from DHS to Epcot's International gateway is not short,it'll probably take 20-30 minutes so if you want to save your feet opt for the boat,but if it's a nice cool day the walk is not too bad,remember to cut through the hallways with the bathrooms by the Luna Park pool for a shortcut.The boat ride will take a while to get to Epcot since the boat stops at all the resorts before going to Epcot,but if you're already tired it's the way to go.

My strategy for leaving DHS for Epcot or the BoardWalk area is that if there's a boat at the dock or very near to docking, we'll take the boat. Once underway, we'll get off at the YC/BC dock as you can walk to the IG before the boat makes it's other stops and arrives. If there's no boat in sight as we exit DHS, a power-walk will usually beat any boat that arrives at DHS after that time. As mentioned, cutting through the BW pool, through the 'tunnel' to the main BoardWalk entrance area will save serious steps.
