Hollywood time allotment

I'm trying to figure out how much time to allow for touring Hollywood. The things we definitely want to get in are: 1) lunch at Pinks Hot Dogs, 2) tour of Grauman's Chinese Theater; 3) view some of the Walk of Fame; 4) shopping on Melrose Ave. If we have time, we'll do Madame Toussands Wax Musuem - but that is not a must. If I allow 4 hours for this, is this too much time? Not enough time?

I would call four the minimum. It may not do for your plans though. Shopping? That's quite the risk when it comes taking lots of time.

graumans tour is about 20-30 minutes from what i can remember, and the walk of fame is right outside,
the area between hollywood and Melrose is a bit of a dump incase you were planning on walking
