Hollywood Studios vs Epcot

I'm visiting in September for a convention and have three theme park days, which I originally planned out as AK, HS and MK. But I'm now doubting my decision to do HS.

At first I really wanted to see Toy Story Land, but now I'm actually starting to plan my days I don't think there's enough at HS to keep me entertained for a whole day, especially as some of the bigger rides are definite no-gos for me (can't do Star Tours - it makes me nauseous, and can't do Rock n Rollercoaster or Tower of Terror either). Which leaves me with Toy Story Land and some of the shows. I love a good musical, so the shows are a plus in my book.

But I just saw some of the Food and Wine festival posts on Disney Food Blog and now I'm thinking I might enjoy a day at Epcot more.

I've only ever been to MK and AK in the past - does anyone have any thoughts?

If you can't do RnR, ToT or Star Tours then I would definitely pick Epcot during Food and Wine.

I love HS and would typically pick that myself, but ToT is my favorite ride of the parks.

I'd do Epcot instead if you can't do ToT, RNRRC or Star Tours. Epcot has more, less intense, rides - the shows are more around music in the World Showcase, but still very entertaining and the Food and Wine event is outstanding.

Epcot is my favorite park with MK being a close 2nd. I love the atmosphere of Epcot much much more than HS and that includes Future World not just World Showcase so I would probably pick it over HS in any scenario - (I doubt Galaxy's Edge will change that especially since I am not much of a Star Wars fan).

Yeah Food and Wine at Epcot without even thinking about it,if you're not riding the other rides at DHS then you're basically down to the rides at TSL and a few shows. You've never been to Epcot which is most peoples favorite or second favorite park and Food and Wine is the most popular time of the year in this park. You can catch the concerts, check out the food booths along with all the Epcot attractions you've never experienced, definitely a full day of things to see and do.

DHS has some nice thrill rides, however if you are skipping them altogether and cannot add a park day for Epcot, I would skip DHS.

Epcot sounds like a really good choice for you. It's a fun park on its own, and even better with Food & Wine.

As far as easy-going rides go, you can't beat Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land and the boat ride inside Mexico. Turtle Talk is better than I expected and the surrounding aquarium is still awesome. Have fun!

I've been to both parks over 100 times, Epcot by a long shot. HS is currently only a half a days worth of stuff to do.

I like HS a lot more than Epcot, but that’s because I absolutely love Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster and I also really like Star Tours. But if you don’t do those, the park would be kind of boring, so in your situation I’d go to Epcot.

It's probably a half day park for you since you've been over 100 times. For those that don't go very often or have never been, HS has plenty to do to fill a whole day. I often have to skip things I want to do there because I can't fit everything into one day. And I haven't been since TSL opened either.
