I *thought* DHS was supposed to be easy planning! Trying to hit ALL the shows is proving to be difficult. I have a few questions:

We are going on a Saturday in Late June...
1) We are doing Jedi Training Academy signup at RD. What are the odds that we would be able to get a show in the 4 o'clock hour? Are we allowed to request a time?

2) Is it conceivable to do VOTLM show starting at 12:55PM and DJr. Live starting at 1:30PM, or is this too tight?

3) What time should we line up for a 9:00PM Fantasmic? We will not have a dinner package.

4) When the 9:00PM Fantasmic is over, are we going to have time to find our stroller and get to the "hub" in time to see the Star Wars Fireworks at 9:45PM, or is it advisable to watch from the parking lot?

TIA

Hello!

I'm not sure about Jedi training, but hopefully I can help you other with your other questions.

2) I think it might be just a shade too close, because the playhouse disney might fill up by the time you get out of TVOTLM

3) I usually arrive around 45 min - 1 hour before. I wouldn't show up any later than 30 min, because it fills up so fast.

4) I would reccomend standing up and walking to the top of the arena to view the remaining 5 min of the show. That way, you'll be ahead of the crowd and have no problem making it to Hollywood Blvd for the fireworks. It's worked for me before :)

1. Yes, IF you get to sign up right at RD. Otherwise you get what you get.

2.VOTLM is only 15 min long. Since its just across the courtyard from DH, you'll probably make it. Try to sit near an exit at the LM.

3. Without a FP or dining package, enter 45-60 minutes before showtime.

Yes, definitely. You want to be at least 45 minutes early for Fantasmic, unless you want standing room only. My kids have found they actually like the seats in the very, very front rows...those little benches. They think it's funny to get sprayed and like to be that close to the performers.

Also, I agree with the recommendation to head toward the exit of Fantasmic before the show is actually done...if you want to get to Hollywood Blvd in plenty of time for fireworks. Remember, there's already a crowd building there that didn't go to Fantasmic, so you'll want to get there before the Fantasmic crowd does. Exiting the show can be slow if you're stuck in the middle of the herd.

1) You can request a time as long as it's available, I would caution against getting JT shows after 1pm just because of our rain patter here, it rains almost every afternoon
2) Close, the show might be full already (Disney Jr.)
3) If there's only one F! an hour before, it fills up quick
4) You have time but have to exit fast as soon as the show is over, try seating toward the top of the theater to make a quicker getaway. It's not recommended to watch the fireworks from the parking lot because you will miss the music and that's a HUGE part of the show

I just would like to add my 2 cents: if you decide you'll have to pick between VOTLM and DisJr, and your kids are preschoolers, I'd skip Little Mermaid. It's pretty dated and if your kids weren't around for the movie, I'm not sure they'll love it IF you can only pick one or the other.
