Hollywood Studios - Time needed & Fireworks

Question 1:
For Hollywood Studios, how much time is honestly needed to enjoy the park at a leisurely pace? We have FPs for Toy Story already, and I can do single rider lines for both RRC and TT. Wife is a fan of BB Stage show, and I am interested in Indiana Jones and Star Wars.

I am thinking we hit Rope Drop and hang out till 3pm with it not being a full day park anymore.

Question 2:
We do not have Park Hopper, and of course when the times for the Star Wars Fireworks were listed they are going to be on days we had not planned for HS. How good are the Fireworks, and can we get a decent enough view of them from outside the park? (will be in EPCOT one of the days and could leave through intl gateway around 9 and walk over, we have seen illuminations multiple times).

They way we have laid out a couple hard to get FPs and ADRs we cannot really change the days in which we are attending each park.

There is not a single rider line for Tower of Terror. Based on your selected attractions, you can certainly be out of the park in short order. You would still miss the Little Mermaid musical, One Man's Dream, and Great Movie Ride. I assume you don't need to see the Disney Junior Show, the ceter stage or frozen show, in addition to the muppets. It also sounds like you are looking at possibly a quick service meal.

You can view the fireworks from outside the security area at Hollywood Studios or along the walking path to the Boardwalk resort. Though you will have a difficult time hearing the music. Also, once the show transitions and includes projection images inside the park, you will not be able to see those.

As for how good are the fireworks? It is reported that there are more pyrotechnics in this show than in Wishes.

We will go to other attractions at HS as well such as Great Movie Ride, Muppets, One Mans Dream, and Launch Bay among others. I wasn't very clear before with the one I had listed, those were some of the favorites for my Wife and I (did not know TT does not have a Single Rider line)

I had heard before its hard to hear the music outside the park. Good point as well as to the projections, but I was under the assumption that would not be incorporated until the official launch of the new Star Wars show coming later I guess int he summer, that the current is a place holder until that is ready.

I saw the fireworks in April and they were GREAT! I hear they are only getting better in the future. We actually went to DHS on two different days in April. We can easily spend a day there (our days don't start at RD) with TSMM, TOT (twice at least), RNR, Beauty and the Beast, Disney Junior, Star tours (3 times at least), Great Movie Ride, Launch bay with Chewbacca and Kylo Ren meet and greets, the Star Wars stage show, the fireworks, lunch and dinner...easily a full day for us.
