Disney has released ADRs for Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios every night from Jan 5 - March 19.

Since this is a dessert party to watch the fireworks and its offered every night this means that the fireworks wont be just on weekends.

We have trip planned for February and I've been wondering what time the Symphony in the Stars Fireworks will be? Did they offically mention the time anywhere because the default on the Dessert Party sign up is 7:00pm

No time announced yet.

Kinda strange that a month out they don't have everything nailed down and are in a position to put this on the schedule. As in today's Disney World.... advance planning is everything.

And with the March 19 date being the last time you can make an ADR, almost seems like it is still a "season" type event.

Dessert parties are always listed this way. It's just a placeholder. Once the times of the actual fireworks are decided (and at MK that time may vary) then if you inquire they will usually tell you something like be there 1.5 hours prior to the dessert party.

For the Star Wars in the past and looks like now it's the same you check in earlier in day right up to the time of the party. They probably give you a special wristband or something. Then they will tell you what time the line will be let in to the party and you can decide when you want to get in line. They will also tell you where it is being moved indoors if need be. Unlike MK parties there have so far been no reserved tables because there are no chairs and not enough tables for each group, many will share. So getting in line early will be important if you want to pick your table/area.

On the website:
  • Please check in for this event at Center Stagelocated next to Min and Bill's Dockside Diner.
  • The party location is outdoors and uncovered. In the event of inclement weather, the dessert party may be moved to an alternate indoor location.

Do you know when have they set off the fireworks for the past Star Wars Weekends? Like is it before or after Fantasmic? Because I'm seeing weekdays in February the Studios close at 7pm with Fantasmic also at 7pm, but on the weekends there are 2 shows of Fantasmic at 7pm & 8:30pm with the park also closing at 8:30pm. On another board people were saying on the Star Wars Weekend the Fireworks would be between the 2 Fantasmic! shows at around 8pm

Maps say 9:30 pm - some sites say 9:45 pm. But that is no guarantee what will happen this year.

My guess is they aren't going to run it at the same time as fantasmic. I remember the frozen fireworks ran just after fantasmic let out because I saw both in one night.

We'll be there this Friday for the inauguration!!! They begin @ 11pm (probably because of EMH)...
Anyway, does anyone have an idea of a good viewing spot?
Would love some advice!
TIA
