Hollywood Studios Rope Drop

I've done rope drop at Magic Kingdom, but not Hollywood Studios. What is it like? Will they only let us in the park right at 9:00, or a little earlier? We are going to head straight for Toy Story.

Usually guests are admitted 15 min., or so, early.
Often, if that's the case, guests are then held at ropes near the Gt. Movie Ride until straight-up "opening time."
