Has anyone ever done a photo shoot there? I think I'd like to do a photo shoot there, but I'd like the see some photos if anyone would like to share them!

DH and I did a combination MK and DHS shoot. I don't have my Disney photos scanned in, I just have some of the shots in Photobucket that we were able to have taken on our cameras. We really loved it for something different and the full complete shoot from Disney Photography is much better than these few pictures that I have from my camera.

Getting set up for a picture near the Judy Garland footprints since I am a huge Wizard of Oz fan.

Sorry I don't have more online to share. We got some cool pictures with Tower of Terror in the background and along Hollywood Blvd. There are also some great pictures in front of Mickey's hat too and more along the city backdrops. They were really flexible and offered to take us around Star Tours and other spots, but neither of us are Star Wars fans.

I think photos at DHS would be great.

Vanessa, did they mention the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground? I think it would be so cool to get a pic on the giant ants instead of carousel horses at MK.

We aren't planning in park pics...but a giant ant pic could sway my decision, lol.

I bet they would probably let you go anywhere honestly. Honey I Shrunk the Kids would definitely make for some fun pictures. DH wanted in front of Rock'n Rollercoaster and I wanted near something Wizard of Oz (actually wanted inside the Great Movie ride in that scene, but they said no :sad2:) after that our photographer was open to anything. There aren't too many people that do shoots there, so I think it is fun for the photographers. Plus, there were less people around inside that park early morning than when we had our wedding at Epcot the day before or went to MK for our shoot earlier the day of DHS pictures.

that is really cool. I can see how they wouldn't let you go in actual rides, but I bet the Wizard of Oz pictures would have been really cool!

Hmm, we'll have to see if we somehow end up under budget... I always thought DHS would be a great park to do the photos and wondered why not many people really used it.

My fiance proposed there, so I really wanted to tie it in with our wedding.

The pictures are awesome! Thank you so much for sharing!

They had actually said if there were any of the workers there opening up the ride there was a slim possibility of getting shots done in there since it is pretty open inside (one of the options for reception sites).

We ended up doing DHS since our wedding was Epcot we already had World Showcase pictures and of course we did the combined shoot, so still had pictures from MK too. I figured how many brides can say that they had pictures inside 3 Disney parks :goodvibes

You're welcome! I think it would be perfect to get pictures there; I'm sure you could even recreate your proposal at the site for a picture. I remember seeing this done with a couple who were married and engaged in Epcot.

DH and I are coming up on our 2nd anniversary and I am already counting down to the 3rd, so we can buy the DVD from the MK/DHS shoot at the reduced cost :thumbsup2

I just realized I'm a super Vanessa copy cat! :goodvibes

We're planning an MK/DHS photo shoot. Unlike Vanessa we are HUGH star wars geeks and I totally want to do the Star Tours area. I'll also try to bug them about the Great Movie Ride and see if anyone is there. That be awesome. I talked to DPS and they were very open about where the photos could be taken in DHS. They said it just depends on the couple's preferences. We're hoping to do Pirates at MK.

After receiving a few PMs I took some shots of my album of the pictures from DHS, so I am going back and adding them to old threads to help future brides.

The photographer was really flexible in where we wanted to go for shots. He said we could go to Star Wars or other areas in the park that fit our interests (as you can see I picked the Wizard of Oz block and we also picked the Mupplet Courtyard.)
