Can't believe I am even considering this. We live an hour from the park and have no need to go when it is crowded but.....
We will be having our big Christmas celebrations on the 23rd and 24th which means we don't have a whole lot to do on Christmas day. Thought I'd pick up single day tickets for the four of us and we'd take in the lights for the last time. We probably wouldn't get there until maybe 3pm. I'm not overly concerned about the crowds. It is what it is. My concern is that the park could be closed. I don't want to drive an hour and then we can't get in. I've read a few websites that say Hollywood Studios doesn't generally close to crowds on Christmas. What say you?

1. My concern is that the park could be closed. I don't want to drive an hour and then we can't get in.
2. I've read a few websites that say Hollywood Studios doesn't generally close to crowds on Christmas.
3. What say you?

1. Could be. With the higher and higher crowd-levels in recent times, you just never know.
And, unless you have a DHS ADR booked**, your "day ticket" category will be the first to be restricted.
2. It will be the second-most likely park to close (following MK.)
3. If DHS happens to be closed when you arrive, you can choose to wait-it-out or head to
Epcot, which, for sure, will be open.

** You could try to book a DHS ADR to make it much more likely that you'd be admitted to
a crowded park.

None of that sounds appealing! lol I think we'll stay home Christmas Day and see if we can fit in the lights before they end on the 3rd.
