I can't get the disney to load. Do they have any decent sit down food restaurants?

Hollywood Brown Derby is good. Probably find that's the go-to better food in that park.

I think the last time we were there we ate at the Sci Fi cafe. Typical food but the experience was fun!

Mama Melrose's and get one of the flatbreads. Pretty good. DHS is the worst park for food, BY FAR!

Hollywood Brown Derby, no way am I giving up 2 TS credit for that. The other places like Sci Fi have good shakes, but that's not a meal.

The counter service in DHS is disgusting. We usually do not eat there.

we actually had a great meal at the ABC commissary. The couscous/quinoa/arugula salad with salmon was delicious. I can't remember what the rest of the family had by everyone really like their meal.

If you like basic sandwiches - or for breakfast pastries and treats - Starring Rolls is good. But that's not a TS.

We actually really like Sci-Fi. 50s PT is okay too, but we go like once a year (we visit WDW multiple times throughout the year.) There are TSes elsewhere we hit every visit or every second visit, for reference.

For TS, I really REALLY liked Brown Derby. It was 2 TS, but that was my "one" 2 credit meal of the trip (and I found it worth it). Next trip I will select one 2 TS credit meal and it won't be there, just to have some variety.

For CS - we split sandwiches and cupcakes at Starring Rolls for a light meal and it was very good for what it was. Not a huge selection, and they are not open very late. The other food I've had in DHS was not very good.

DHS has five sit down restaurants (one is buffet):
Hollywood Brown Derby (my favorite for food, but not worth 2 TS from a price stand-point. This is one of the two places my family tries to go to every trip)
Sci Fi (fun atmosphere and good, but casual, food. This is my family's other favorite place in DHS)
Mama Melrose
Hollywood & Vine (buffet)
50's Prime Time (some people love the interactions, others, like me, avoid it all costs)

There are also a number of big QS places:
ABC Commissary (my family liked it, I wasn't very impressed)
Studio Catering Company
Toy Story Pizza Planet
Sunset Boulevard (several different venues all lumped together)

And then there are also lots of stand alone kiosks or stands. These include things like Min and Bill's Dockside Diner and Starring Rolls.

Even if we ever bought the Dining Plan I would NEVER use it for HBD. We get the coconut tofu noodle bowl, which is $28 and very filling, so that would be out of pocket. I'd use the TS credit elsewhere, if we ever felt the DP would be worth it. Because the HBD surely IS worth eating at, for us at least!

Even though we like DHS, we do tend to leave before it closes, and have never needed to find a QS place. Though I think there's a veggie sandwich at the commissary that others have said is good.

Surprised the counter svc gets such a bad rap there. We actually enjoyed our burgers there better than the CS meals in the other parks.

We struggle with DHS. We've had some really raunchy counter service meals there so generally avoid the QS except for cupcakes at Starring Rolls (yum).

DH is pescetarian/vegetarian and finds DHS the most difficult place to find a meal. Brown Derby is wonderful but feels very overpriced. We don't like either Sci Fi (I do love the cars) or Mama Melrose's. So 50s Prime Time it is if we spend a whole day there. I love the fried chicken and DH thinks the spaghetti and the fish special are decent.

Today we had the boxed lunch/Fantasmic seating. It was reasonably priced and pretty good. I had the sushi meal, and it was tasty

We have tried most of the table service restaurants and counter food places as well at DHS and have yet to be impressed with really good food. So far Prime Time has been the the best but still not as good as other table service restaurants in other parks. We are trying the Brown Derby Cobb Salad next trip and hoping it will be a great experience.

Scifi shakes are pretty good. I also like their spinach dip and chicken wings. My son loved their onion rings, I thought they were decent but im not a huge fan of onion rings in general.

50's isnt bad, but i found their fried chicken to be waaaay too salty. I love the theme and antics, and their PBJ shake!

I have yet to try the MM flatbread. Sounds yummy!

This always cracks me up...I am THE FUSSIEST person around (ask my friends!) and I have never had a problem eating at DHS. We really enjoy Pizza Planet! We've also eaten at Mama Melrose and SciFi and liked them as well. Different strokes for different folks I guess :)
