A little background about us first. Trip will be myself and my 3.5 yo daughter. neither of us have been to HS before. we are staying at Art of Animation resort so not too far with skyliner. she is prone to nausea so dont know if we should try to do alien swirling saucers or slinky dog. our trip is beginning of may. currently my daughter naps around 1pm on most days. i dont really want to do a dining reservation on a park day. i plan to do a character one on our resort day. also I plan to get us genie plus and we have no interest in star wars (that was her dad's thing and I want the day to be about us). and any quick service recommendations??? or snacks???

7- LL (lightning lane pick)- meet olaf
730- skyliner
830- runaway railway
9- LL- beauty beast 1pm showing
930-1030- frozen musical
Meet olaf
11- LL- ??????
Disney junior dance party
Muppet vision
1- LL- toy story mania
1- beauty beast

2-5: BREAK

5- toy story land
7- line up for fantasmic
8- fantasmic

So your general LL timing doesn't work because you can't pick your 2nd LL till you use your first one or 2 hours after the park opens not after you select your first one.

That all being said I would be picking runaway railway over Meeting Olaf as my first LL. Unless you are going at a very busy time of the year, since you are arriving early, that line to meet him is fairly short and he tends to have LLs available throughout the day. If you are set I was getting a LL I'd be getting it for the earliest possible time in order to meet him early and booking your next LL (runaway railway) but I would prioritize runaway railway and then potentially getting him next after I did that.

Do you think it's a bad idea to rope drop runaway railway?

Also thank you for the genie plus tip. That changes everything lol

I don't necessarily think it is a bad idea. It is just if I was buying Genie+ I'd want to use it for the rides that really "need it" and on your list to hit the only two of those are MMRR and TSM. So I'd be trying for MMRR for my LL and then you could try to rope drop it (it does build quickly being the first ride in the park) so if it is already long you'd have the LL or if isn't you could potentially ride twice.

I'm also not sure how it has been doing recently but I feel like RR is also down at rope drop enough that I'd want to have a LL for it.

Not saying that you can't use a LL for Olaf, B&B, Frozen, just usually you can get those with relatively close return times so it wouldn't be like my 7AM selection.
