Hollywood Studios closes at the same time Fantasmic starts?

I saw the question about HEA starting at closing time at MK, and it reminded me that I wanted to ask this question...
I noticed on Kenny the Pirate's crowd calendar for October that Fantasmic starts at 8:00. I also noticed that is says the HS's hours for that month are 9am-8pm. Is that typical that the park closes as Fantasmic begins?

Very normal for a show like Fantasmic or another to start at or after park closing

Main shops near the exit will still be open after the park closes. Little vendor stands will be closed though

The larger stores will stay open for about an hour after closing

It's the easiest way to get people out of a park at close. Dazzle them with the nightly spectacular, and while that is going on lock all the shop door and close the attraction entrances.

Then when the show lets out funnel the people towards the exit.

Though the main gift shop of the park usually stays open a bit later. I think for Hollywood Studios that is the long line of shops on the left side of the main street (left as you enter).

Same thing at Epcot. Illuminations usually starts at 9:00 when the park closes.

I think that, for our dates in June, the park closes at 9:30, with Fantasmic starting at 9 pm and star wars galactic spectacular at 9:30 pm....
