Hollywood and Vine Minnies Dinner yes/no

We have this booked for August and Im debating changing it to another dinner. We have done many of the character dinners and breakfasts. We have always skipped this one because of the characters. Now that it is Minnie we were going to try it but I have read awful reviews. Thoughts..??

I never even heard Minnie was involved in this one. We booked it for Breakfast for Playhouse Disney Characters for the first time. If you want Minnie, we loved Cape May years back....pretty sure we met Minnie there and it was delicious!

We just did it in June and we enjoyed it.

We also did the Minnie Dinner at H&V earlier this month and we enjoyed it a lot! It just changed to the Summer Theme when we dined there. We took pictures with Donald Duck at the entrance, then Minnie along with the other characters come to your table. We actually had two rounds of the characters come to our table! I had heard that the characters don't sign autograph books, because you get a small signed card prior to your meal, but I did see an occasion where characters signed autograph books at other guests' tables. The interaction with the characters was so fun! I've seen reviews of the food not being good, but we all thought it was great! I especially loved the Salted Caramel Chocolate Dipped Strawberries for dessert! Refreshing to have something that was delicious, but not super heavy!

How much is the dinner and does anyone know if they do AP discount? I am staying onsite but since my entire family won't be there the full week, I refuse to pay for the dining plan an entire week for the whole family. Wished Disney would come up with a system for that. ..
