Hollywood and Vine Lunch?

Any good? We were thinking this or Mama Melrose for lunch. Thanks for any opinions.

Sorry, I have not been for lunch. Just seemed like an odd "either or" choice and didn't know if you knew it as a character meal featuring the Playhouse Disney characters.

We went for dinner and the food as fine, not fabulous, but fine. Lots of people on DIS complain about H&V, but I'd eat there again.

We were thinking of going for my son who is 2, but if the food is horrible I was thinking maybe Mama Melrose. We have already done Sci fi (was just ok food) and Prime Time and was looking for something different.

We go every trip. We've been for both breakfast and lunch and their both pretty basic. Nothing outstanding. We honestly don't go for the food. My DSs LOVE the Little Einstein's and dining with Leo and June is the highlight of their vacation.

Every time we receive the check, DH says Cr@ppy food $100 , DSs photos with the Einstein's = Priceless

We just make up for it with a good signature restaurant dinner

We NEVER go to a character meal expecting good food. If we enjoy the food, it's a bonus Watching our children interact with the characters is worth it to us.

We went the first month they were open and it was FABULOUS. It was so good we went twice in the same week. During that time, you could just walk right in the place with no reservation. Fast forward several months to our next time. Total disaster. There were so many people there the fire marshall should have been called. (jk) The line was 20 deep at times at the buffet and once you waited in that line, half the food was gone because they could not keep up with demand. It was like 10 people called in sick that day or something as they seemed totally unprepared for all the people that were there. I am hoping to get away with no going there on our next trip.
