Hollywood and Vine for lunch?

We have ressies there for next month for lunch with the characters. Seeing a lot of very bad reviews for this place. So, for those of you have been there lately, do you hate it, love it, or think it's somewhere in between?

Hate it. Gave it two tries and won't go back for a third time. Bad and rude service both times and even worse food--bland, lukewarm and the place was filthy.

We didn't find the place filthy and enjoyed our meal there. Now that said neither my post or PP are referring to the Character meal experience there. Keep your eyes open for feedback on the Character meal as it will be different than the dinner meals we had.

I did make an ADR for the lunch, but canceled my trip. In fact I think it was for yesterday. I hope some other DISSER got it and had a wonderful experience. Sorry I can't give you more specific information.
