Does anyone know where the early entry for breakfast at Hollywood Studios is? I have read a lot about the advantages of having an early BOG breakfast reservation at Magic Kingdom....does anyone know if there is an advantage to having an early breakfast reservation in HS? Like getting Toy Story early? Thanks.

The early ADR kiosk at DHS is the farthest left tapstile.

With the change on RD procedures at DHS as of today, it's unknown whether an early ADR will help get early access to any rides.

Thanks....I have never even considered breakfast at HS...not sure I want to if there is no benefit.

It "may" help you be towards the front of the opening crowd, but DHS does not "open" any attractions early for ADR Guests like Magic Kingdom "usually" does with SDMT.:)

Thanks....it may be worth it to get inside the park early.

Thanks to H&V breakfast, I was then the very first rider of the day on Rock n Roller Coaster.... but this was my plan and I didn't eat much breakfast knowing I'd be flipped upside down shortly thereafter. Good thing my son likes the Disney Jr characters!

What time did you get outside to be the first one on? My reservation is at 8:05 and I don't care about characters at all so will eat and go outside and wait.

I think I left H&V about 8:50, walked towards RnR, had time for the restroom, and got in line. Rope drop crowds came behind me, and I was on the front row of the first run of the day. This was in Feb 2015, and the streets were open at that time, no ropes or restrictions in where I could roam.

Note that my primary objective was H&V experience with characters for my son, and then using that immediate time after to hit RnR so that my husband and son didn't have to wait for me later in the day when lines were longer. It wasn't a given benefit, but worked out for me and our plans for the day.

You need to balance your touring ideas with the cost of breakfast, and your interest there.

Thanks...it will be interesting to see if the new rope drop procedures make it worthwhile or they will hold me behind rope droppers

Regular Guests are being allowed in at 8:30 AM with Rope Drop at 8:45 AM,so you would have to be through eating and headed to the ropes at 8:29 to be first at the rope(my guess is they won't hold you from getting to the ropes at that time).:)

Based on how they did things during the Frozen Summer Fun opening show last summer, I'd bet this will be the case as well. They'll probably make H&V guests go wait at the internal rope with everyone else. H&V still gives you a slight advantage over people waiting at the entrance, but not as good of an advantage as it did before they implemented this new opening procedure. You'll still have to jockey for position at the rope...you'll be amazed at how many later arrivals will just elbow past you if you let them.

Hmmm decisions. Either arrive at the gates at 8 and wait for rope drop or go in and eat and still wait at rope drop. Sounds like the way they are doing things now with people elbowing their way to the front is definitely worse than waiting at gate.

I thought I was being slick making an 8:05 b'fast reservation at H&V so we could get the drop on everyone for JTA. And then they announced they were bringing back the rope drop not even a week after I made my reservations. As of now I will keep the b'fast reservation but I will keep any eye out for updates. If it turns into a hot mess at rope drop and they make H&V diners join the crowd behind the rope I may end up cancelling the reservations... Crikey!

I would say the advantage is minimal and H&V breakfast is really a Disney Junior fest! We went because DS loves the characters. It helped get my nephew a spot for JTA maybe, but that was not the primary reason. Unlike BOG, I would say, don't make the ADR if you just want breakfast while waiting for RD. That breakfast is much more about the experience than the food IMO.

Any updates on people having early breakfast reservations and rope drop? Any advantage to the early breakfast?

Anyone do the HV breakfast recently that can report about how rope drop worked etc?

Bumping this up because I am trying to decide whether to keep an 8am adr. Now that I don't have to worry about JTA sign up :( the advantage would just be to get to either TSM or RnR before the masses. Anyone experienced an early adr there lately?
