Hello!!

We got back late last night and now it's time to share our highs & lows.

Lows First...

1. My husband is an idiot!!! This pretty much covers the non- Disney lows and details will follow in the TR...

2. Cafe Mickey was disappointing as far as the food was concerned, not that I was expecting much, which made it even more of a let down!

That's it for the lows, now for the good bits...

1. The Hotel New York - lovely room, lovely staff, lovely breakfast, great location!

2. Meals (except CM) - Walts, Blue Lagoon, Steakhouse and Inventions were all fantastic!!! I promise to do reviews, in fact, I am planning on doing them before I start my TR so I don't forget!

3. Characters - We had a great mix of character meals, scheduled meets and surprise characters including Jack & Sally Alice in Wonderland, Donald, Daisy, Minnnie, Mickey, Duffy, Santa Goofy, Lilo, Stitch, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Max Jessie, Cinderella, Belle & her Prince , Snow White, Suzy, Perla, Smee, Eeyore & Tigger!

4. Christmas music, the snow, the decorations, the tree lighting, IASW Christmas makeover, the candy house & tree in DLH (wow!!) and the Christmas theming in general, perfect!

5. Not having to cook or do any housework for 5 days - bliss!

6. I've already mentioned it in number 2 but Inventions deserves it's own mention as the character interaction here was better than any I have ever experienced! Isabelle renamed it the "Love Lunch" because she got so much love!

7. Dreams - I know I've seen it on You Tube but it doesn't compare to seeing the real thing, this is the first time we've seen fireworks at DLP too so it was a real treat. I literally watched the whole thing with my mouth open!

Overall, best trip ever!!!!!!!! Honestly. Just brilliant. When I've sorted through the 1400 photos I'll make a start on the restaurant reviews and TR!

Yay, I am so pleased you had a magical trip!

Sounds amazing and I am thinking that your DH either forgot your camera/video camera or charger for them or something?? Am I close?

I knew you would love the Inventions brunch - would love to do one sometime but we are not there long enough on Sunday, we are being collected at 1 pm for the airport (I know, what a waste of a day - don't know what I was thinking when I booked the flights! ).

Hmmm, bit worried about Cafe Mickey - I have booked it two nights running for our trip (DH and I won't be there one of the nights). Really thinking I might be best to change the second one.... I suppose we could see how the first night goes and cancel if that isn't so good. I am with you on the food, I really don't get the food in there - it's pricey and half the time takes so long, it's cold when you get it . The character interaction used to be great in there, but again, lots of people are saying it is rushed too much these days (we sampled this in June at lunchtime)....

So, I can't wait to hear more and see your lovely pictures. It sounds like heaven .

PS - I would LOVE to meet Alice - she is my all time favourite from being a little girl, but knowing my luck it won't happen. I haven't met her on any of our trips yet....

Thank you! It was our first time meeting Alice too, we had just declined the option of queueing 75 minutes to meet a Princess so it was a bonus to find her outside the Labyrinth!

I would think twice about CM x 2 but if it's for the kids they will probably love it!

Radisson - massively inconvenient (will explain on my return) but lovely facilities, cheap and has free, fast wifi! Hence why I'm on here!
