heyy there, was just wondering if anyone else on these boards works at a Hollister Co. store, if they do what's it like? I start on the 13th March and I'm really excited.

my mum and dad always complain about how dark it is xD

they actually have some amazingly pretty summer stuff out, so when i know im going on holiday somewhere hot, im gonna buy like... loads xD

Don't work there or shop there... but I did once get a nasty bruise from a table I couldn't see in the dark xD

It doesn't particularly remind me of California.. but I did get a kick of seeing my "hometown" (Huntington Beach) have a live feed video or whatever.

hollister was more of a middle school thing for me, don't really shop there much anymore. although my grandma and mother refuse to realize that i have moved on to different stores.

all the clothes just seem the same to me now. i still wear what i have/ get from there though. i really like their shorts!

i would like to work there for the sole shallow reason of the fact that it would make me feel pretty xD

I can't see when I'm in there, it's too loud, and I get knocked out by plants. pftahahaha.

They have super cute clothes though.

i've never been to a hollister. i wasn't all that preppy in middle school (when that stuff was in style) so i missed out on the hollister/a&f/aeropostal.

i really wish they wouldn't spray that god awful perfume outside the store though. i get a headache every time i walk past it.

It's the first store in Scotland I'm soo excited cause I'm obsessed with Hollister haha

Haha, yea the advertisement got a lot of bad publicity in the papers as it said "We're looking for cool, good looking people to work for us"

It's a rumor, but I was told that the management (at least at the stores around here) tell their employee's to be kind of stuck up. Like they smile, sometimes, but its almost like a smile that you are below them. AHAHA.

I don't really shop at Hollister anymore, it was like a phase I went through in middle school & freshman year. I'm more of a Charlotte Russe /Forever 21 girl. Hollister is just so dark & loud & it reeks of mixtures of different types of cologne & perfume. I walk out of there feeling blinded by the transition from darkness to light. lol

But hey, a job is a job, I would take it. hahah

That's EXACTLY what happened to me too. I went to walk up the stairs and my jeans totally ripped, I only had them for a few months too. I was so mad.
