Holidays & Seasons Swap: COMPLETE

WOW! The work being done in this swap is just amazing. I love each and every piece. And wish I was getting them all. Just to drool over, because you all know I don't really scrapbook.

Mazda and Cheryl, your pieces are awesome!!!

I may have my e for the word tree...I hope it's ok to be on an ornament (and to use the same green paper I used in the R for Christmas...it's just such neat paper!)- I thought it made sense but then DH made me do a double take on the idea haha

I couldn't get a good shot without a glare, so the color is off Here it is:

Here's a glare-y pic, with a better representation of the colors

dacky--I love it!!! Don't listen to your DH. I can say that because my DH hated my headless horseman. Where did you get that beautiful green paper?

ooooh, sparkly! love it!

haha i had the same reaction to the sparkles. As I always tell DH, you can never have enough glitter. LOL

OMG but your headless horseman is so cool! I LOVE the purple border!!!

I got that paper at a store in the Lancaster Outlets (Rockvale) that just opened this summer- Times to Remember. There's one in the Hershey Outlets too by Hershey Park! They have some of the most amazing paper! I just wish they had sales ;)

In honor of Halloween here is my headless horseman (he is 5 inches high including the pumpkin and a little over 5 inches wide)

I hope you all like it :)

Love it! How did it go at that size? I made all of the portraits from this cart for a Halloween party, but I was working at 11 1/4 inches - -very easy at that size.

Beautiful!

Susan--it cut really nicely. I had to try 2 different purples (the first one was too heavy & didn't cut well). All the parts, even the horses reigns cut really well.

Thanks everyone for posting pictures. You all are so creative and making some awesome items! Great job everyone!

Here are a few more groups I've completed lately. Hope you ladies like them! I'm having some family stress right now so I figured I'd post these pictures because hearing the positive comments from all you ladies always lifts my spirits. So lots of prayers and pixie dust are welcomed!

Single Element Grp. R Christmas:
Library pockets are all slightly different patterns of the same paper kit.

Single Element Grp. T Halloween:
The bottles are glued down around the edges so you can still slide a photo underneath them.

The bottles are cut from patterned paper--here's a close up of what they say:

Mini Kit Grp. 2 Holidays:
I've been working on this for a solid week everyday. I made 3 handmade paper piecings so it took me a long time. They were such cute patterns (from Scrapbooks Etc. magazine website) that I couldn't resist though.

The whipped cream is handmade paper so it looks very textured like the real thing.

the idea for the title came from threeiscrazy. I scraplifted how she made her letters different colors on her ABC page swap for the Make a Wish pages. Hope she doesn't mind.

I embossed the turkey twice with different folders and chalked him to try to look like paprika/browned skin. Hope it's okay color-wise.

okay Traci where did you get the bottles for the Halloween set. I am in love with that set and it would be perfect with the mad scientist house that we trick or treated at.

Tracy those are just adorable... I love the flippin' turkey! That is just too darn cute!!!
Hope things are getting better at home... stress sucks to say the least!

It's Cloud9Design by Colorbok called "witches brew". I bought it at JoAnn's. The double sided pattern is what I used for the mats (drippy stripes). Thanks Shawn!

Traci, those are amazing! you have quiet the talent!

Wow Traci, those are beautiful! I love the idea of using multiple colors for the title...and the turkey is amazing and makes me want an embosser. lol

Also, I would never think to cut paper like that and use just part of it kind of like a sticker...brilliant!

Thank you so much for sharing!!!!

You have such a steady hand. They all look machine cut they are so perfect.

I love the turkey. It does look like the skin when it is properly cooked. Please don't ask if I have ever cooked the skin properly. :rolleyes1

If you need anything at home, just let me know. I am only a short ride away and book fair doesn't last past this Friday.:hug:
