does anyone know where I can find info on holiday events. I will be there early Dec. and would like to start planning. Thanks

When it comes to universal's website they love to wait before posting information about an upcoming event. you'd think after 15 years they would have learned the sooner the better but they seem to think otherwise. during december you'll be guaranteed to see Grinchmas over at Islands of Adventure in Seuss Landing, and over at the Studio it will most likely be the Macy's Parade yet again. Both of these events have proved popular year after year. Grinchmas when you really break it all down is nothing more than a change in decor and background music to Seuss Landing, along with a Grinch's Lair meet and greet area and a stage show periodically throughout the day. The Macy's parade at the studio features a few of the floats and quite a few of the actual smaller balloons used during their famous Thanksgiving Day parade which is broadcast on tv. This even also usually features a walkthrough area with a couple of the larger balloons permanantly moored to the ground with various pictures and signage telling you about the parade's history and information about the various balloons. Luckily you'll be coming in the early part of december before the crowds grow too large and will most likely be able to take full advantage of the two events and what they have to offer. as the month goes on the crowds get bigger and bigger and somewhat more unruly as they grow larger making it difficult to find a spot for viewing. There's no shortage of people coming to these events, so there's really nothing for them to learn.
