We are going to spend a day at Epcot, and really want to experience the Holidays Around the World (I know it's been renamed). I'm especially interested in the food kiosks they have set up. I see the the majority of food offerings are eligible as snack credits! We were planning to just pay OOP for our meals, however now I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get the dining plan?

They were mostly snack credits this past Christmas, but I was usually too full from my QS/TS meals to eat as many as I had wanted to try (we had free dining, personally I would never pay for a dining plan because it's just way more food than I ever need).

When I went last April, our party didn't even realize we had like ten snack credits a piece left over (We had the dining plan, which gives you two per day I think). You'll have more than enough credits to eat comfortable as well as dine at the HAtW experience, in my opinion. Let's see what others think :)

Just remember 1 thing, Disney doesn't offer the dining plan because it saves the Guest money.

As with any time the DDP comes up, run the numbers. Look at the menus and guess what you would eat. Tally it all up and see if it costs more or less than the DDP. Then you know if it is worth while. But paying for the DDP just to get a few free "snacks" at Epcot is probably not going to work out in your favor.

we used many many snack credits at Epcot but we had free dining. Not sure if buying the DDP would work out money wise though for you all
