I apologize if this has been mentioned already, but I saw this reservation available for an additional ticketed premium event inside the already separate ticketed MVMCP. I don't recall this being available last year but it is basically the same as the dessert party for MNSSHP. It looks like you get preferred parade and Wishes viewing along with the dessert party. Between the MVMCP ticket and this, the total is around $170ish for the night for an adult.

Then, after you’ve experienced this dazzling cavalcade of festive friends—each dressed in their holiday best—and enjoyed a visit from Jolly Old Saint Nick himself, you’re invited to a private dessert party! It’s the perfect place to treat your senses to fa-la-la-fantastic views of Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks bursting high above Cinderella Castle.

But that’s not all! There’s even more in store…

At a table decked with boughs of holly, discover a host of holiday-themed cupcakes and desserts freshly prepared by our pastry chef, along with a bountiful buffet of sweet treats—like chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate mousse, ice cream, cheeses and fresh, seasonal fruits.

Schedule and Pricing Details
The Holiday Wishes Dessert Premium Package is available on the following dates:

• November 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27 and 29, 2016
• December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 28 and 22, 2016

Each premium package costs $79 for adults and $49 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax not included). For reservations, please book online or by calling (407) 939-3463. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.

Please note: a separate ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is also required and is not included in the price of this package.

We don't do these for the desserts....it's more about convenience for us. I like having a guaranteed spot for the parade and fireworks and not have to worry about it. My kids are too small and get antsy staking out spots for that stuff.

I know and I did it awhile ago in December ( it was freezing) but for our 5 it would be crazy to pay just under $400 for this event. I just think Disney has raised some of their prices to ridiculous amounts

This is exactly why we book it too. We love not being smushed. We did the dessert party for MNSSHP last year and I am excited to do it for the Christmas party now too.

Sorry for hijacking but how was the view of the fireworks during MNSSHP? Just curious since the fireworks are 360 and tomorrowland terrace seems off to one side?

From the terrace it really is off to the side, so if you want a straight on view you might not be happy with the location. We are more into the parades than the fireworks anyway, so we don't mind.

This is the 1st year for the Holiday Wishes Dessert Party, which includes special parade viewing. In the past regular Wishes Dessert Party was offered on MVMCP nights. Fireworks view is off to side, but still can enjoy entire show IMO. Offers great view of Tinkerbell.

It is the first year, but this dessert party seems exactly like the one for the Halloween party. For that, the parade viewing is near the flagpole and then they walk you back behind Main Street to Tomorrowland Terrace for the fireworks

Correct. Unlike the original MK parade FP+ area & Villians Soiree in 2014, viewing was in the Hub.

I am considering this but for the life of me can't figure out where the flagpole is (the middle?) Is this a good spot? And are you reading this as you get a private meet and greet with santa? crazy price though...
