Thank you for your prayers. I however do not personally know the little boy. My husband received the request on a work forum. I thought this would be a good place to pass it along. I don't know of another group that is so considerate and caring of others. Disers certainly know how to spread magic.

From what I read any card, postcard, or letter will do. He just loves to open/get mail. He and his brother read the cards together. The mom said it helps keep her spirits up that total strangers are thinking about and praying for her son.

I heard about Kyle a while ago through another website for children with DIPG, a type of brainstem tumor. He is doing very well compaired to most chilren with this type of cancer. Only 10% make it beyond a year. And the long term survival is next to nil. It is great that people are sending him cards. I'm sure this will make him very happy. And getting the word out about his type of cancer would make him even happier. It is a very rare type of cancer and has had in the way little advancements in treatment or cure rates.

I know some people here were kind enough to send Kyle a card or said a prayer for him. I just wanted to let them know that he earned his angel wings this past weekend. Here is a nice article written about him.
