I am not a gifted writer as so many of you are so I have decided to list the pros and cons of our resort, transportation, restaurants and theme parks and attractions. I have received sooo much good information from everyone here I wanted to give back whatever I could.

We were at WDW December 29th-January 5th.
Me My husband my daughter 18 and a college freshman at the University of Texas and my son a sophomore in high school.

Pop Century
Pros
the CMs were on the whole very friendly and helpful. The resort is cute, bright, clean and new. Very accessible location as related to the majority of the parks.
Transportation was awesome. There were huge crowds and Pop Century was very busy but only waited for 20 minutes once. Usually waited about 10 to 15 minutes. When the bus line got crowded two buses would show up at once.

Cons
The food court got old pretty quick.

Restaurants

Pros
Some of our favorites were:
Concourse Steakhouse our new pick for first night of trip dinner. We all loved our food the atmosphere and the service. My daughter said the ribs were some of the best she has ever had. We also loved the Creme Brulee

Columbia Harbour House
We all enjoyed the food here.

All Star SPorts Cafe at WWOS
I went to the University of Michigan and my son is a huge fan of Uof M
My daugher attends the University of Texas and my husband is a fan of UT
Well if you follow football you know what happened here. We watched the game at the Cafe. The atmosphere was fun and the CM's were great. To bad the end wasn't quite the best.

Rose and Crown Pub
My daughter and I ate Lunch here one day. We were seated on the terrace right next to the water. It was a beautiful sunny day and the CM was great. The food was good not great but the atmosphere more than made up for it.

Cons
As previously stated the food at Pop Century was not the best.

We ate at the Sci Fi Diner the service was not very good and my kids said the ribs were just ok.

Theme Parks and Attractions

Pros
All of the help that I received here was a great big plus
Tour guide Mike was very helpful and I found myself quoting a lot of what he said to my family

My daughter did the Dolphins in Depth tour and absolutely loved it. She just couldn't stop talking about it.

Candlelight Processional we did the dinner package and this was great. We got to sit under the roof and felt so much a part of the performance. Levar Burton did a great job.

Disney Quest as usual my son loved this place.

I think one of the things that I love about Disney is my family has such different tastes and at Disney we can find something that everyone loves.

Visting over the Holidays everything was so beautiful.

The Weather is was in the 70s every day and cool but not cold in the evenings.

I have never seen so many people from different countries. When we went to church on Sunday the priest asked where people where from some of the answers were South Africa, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico etc... We really felt like we were part of the United Nations it was an awesome feeling.

Cons
Visiting over the holidays
Because I planned well it went pretty good but boy were there a lot of people. As long as you are ready for it and plan it is ok but I sure felt bad for a lot of people who had no clue.

The very best thing of all is having the time together as a family. With my daughter leaving for college this year this was a perfect time for us to get away from phones, friends, jobs etc.. and just be a family. Seeing my kids be together and enjoy each other's company is worth everything!

Hope everyone has a magical day!

Did all four of you stay in one room? I have 2 teenagers , and think 4 would be crowded for the size of rooms there. How did you do the room?

I like the pro and con sections.......We did a value resort with four adults and we made out fine....only had to get in the shower and out in the morning and that was it.....we spend most of our time in the parks and the pools.......
Thanks so much for your report again
Oh where did you eat for the CP ......that is an awesome program and to hear it again gives me the goosebumps

We did stay in one room the first 4 nights. It was holiday season and the room was 124 a night (my daughter is 18 so she was an additional 10)

The last three nights were value season with an AP discount so we had 2 rooms. It was much much better.

We ate at Restaurant Marrekesh for our dinner it was the first time we had eaten there and for the most part we really enjoyed our food.
