Holiday Tour ?'s

I know I read about the Holiday tour on here at one time, but can't get the search function to work for me. Can anyone point me in the direction of some of the old threads about the tour? Or, can anyone tell me about it again? I remember thinking that it sounded really fun, and doable with a stroller. Thanks!

Which holiday tour are you talking about - Halloween or Christmas?? OK - just realized probably Christmas ;-)

I've done the Christmas tour a couple of times. They give you headsets so you can hear them talk, and they play holiday music for you while you walk around to get you in the spirit. It was funny last year when our tour guide wanted us to sing along to the music on our headphones, and people around us were staring at us because we were all singing, but they didn't hear any music to sing with.

They tell you about the various decorations throughout the areas of the park, and you get a free piece of fudge (my favorite part!) along the way. You go on Haunted Mansion Holiday, and then take the train over to Small World Holiday. After the tour is over, you get special seating for the Christmas parade at the area near Small World, and they give you some hot chocolate and a cookie, plus a pin to remember your tour. I obviously enjoy this tour since I've done it several times. In the past you could get a discount with your annual pass, or a Disney Visa card during certain dates.

christmas was gona be cool it ended up raining and we cancled but we still got our pin and money back they were really nice tho it looked to be cool. parade perfured seatting and stuff we will go another time

I realize it is impossible to know the schedule for this year, but could somebody answer about when it was offered in past years?

We will be there Dec. 2-5 (which is a Tues-Fri). I am curious if it offered during the week or only on the weekend (and that early in December) and what time it tends to be at. I am trying to figure out a rough schedule and would really like to do the tour, but not sure if it will fit in and of course, don't want to wait another 6 weeks to figure it out.

The Disneyland site says that Holidays at the DL Resort are November 21-January 4.

Would anyone know if the Disney Vista card will have this tour for the 20% discount...like they have for some of the other Disneyland Tours??? Thanks...JC

I know the Halloween tour does have the discount applicable, so I think the Christmas one would as well........

The Canadian ride junkies are doing fine, thanks! My DS is feeling much better and is so excited to go in October, even if it's just for basically a weekend. We get to do all the Halloween stuff, so very good times - and with the Halloween tour we get to skip the line for TOT and a couple other rides. Nice

I know the Halloween one is 5:15 and 5:30 and the cost is $59, so probably thereabouts. They never have the cost posted on the DL website though. You have to call the Disney Guided Tours phone number 714-781-4400.
