Oh thank you :thumbsup2 I have been waiting for this! I just checked the other day and it hadn't been put online yet. :) I see they raised the price for that too :scared1: oh well I am still going to sign up :cool1:

We did it last year- they didn't have the audio enhancements- but it was FABULOUS!

Really, it was a great value too- we got a Mickey Gingerbread man, and hot chocolate IN the collectible holiday travel mug, plus priority seating for the parade (padded folding chairs right up front) and the tour itself was just awesome.

I highly recommend it!:cheer2:

Thanks! We are doing this for sure! I've been thinking about getting a Disney visa, and w/ this discount, think I'll make the call!

Can anyone explain a little bit more about the "tour" aspect of this? Would it hold the interest of 9-12 year-olds?

I see in the original post times are not listed...it used to be at 10am and then during busy times it was also at 4pm...does anyone have that info?....plus what dates are you planning to attend?...I'm thinking of signing up for one of the days after Thanksgiving?...do you think that will be a 'high-demand' time for this tour?...

I just booked the tour for 4:15 that will view the 6:30 parade. I assume the early tour starts at 1:15 for the 3:30 parade.

I just booked the tour for the 4:15 time too on November 13th. I think this is the best time because everything will be lit up. I am super excited!! It's the first night of the tour and kind of the Christmas decoration kickoff,We have a 7,5 and 2 year old so will probably be out for the Haunted Mansion part with at least one of them but getting seats for the parade and seeing IASW will be worth it!! They will love the hot cocoa and treats too!:dance3:

Report back on how the kids like the tour...I have 4 under age 8 and I've heard mixed reviews on how the kids do on the tour.

I'm also looking forward to hearing your report! I've pretty much decided to do the tour, but still have lingering doubts about whether my DD6 and DD3 will love it or get bored.

I just got my tixs for the day after Thanksgiving...YEAH!!!...two tixs for the 4:15pm tour...the earlier tour is at 1pm...I'M SO HAPPY!!!...now I can start planning my days...I'm gonna try to get Fantasmic! for the 28th, late showing...if I get tixs fine, if not no big deal... I just want to do the tour, ride the two holiday attractions and see the parade....anything else I get to do over the Thanksgiving weekend is BONUS...I can't believe in 30 DAYS I'll be at the Happiest Place on Earth!!! :yay:

I love these boards!! We are also booked on the 4:15pm Nov 13 for 3 adults and two kiddos ages 3 and 7! Looks like a bunch of us will be on the first tour together!!

I got mine today for dec. 11 for the 1:00 tour so my DA and I could do F! later during the 1st show. This works out well so the two of us could do the tour and see the Christmas Fantasy Parade @ 3:30 and come back later for seating area for F!. I love F! so much even though it said on there DL website shows that they are showing one show, but when I called, they said that they are showing two show that night. Everytime I go see F! i always go to the first show and see the fireworks after the F!.

I'm hoping they do have a second F! show as the CM said it would be. So it won't be crowded during the 1st show.

I'm calling tomorrow to book our tour for 12/12! If I don't call right when they open at 7:00 AM, do you think I'll have any problems getting spots for four people? I'd like to book the late afternoon/evening tour. Would I be better off calling Vacation Planners today? I've never used them before, but since I have a 7AM meeting, I'm wondering whether that might be my best bet.

I'm looking forward to hearing from those of you who have the tour booked on Friday and Saturday! Have an awesome time! :thumbsup2

I'm not sure about booking on the weekend. I booked my Thursday tour exactly 30 days out. At first I was told the tour was at 4:45, which would have wrecked my dinner plans, so I asked if anything was available on the Wed before, and was told yes. So I could have called 29 days in advance and been ok.

ETA: The 4:45 time turned out to be incorrect. I was called back later and told the real time is 2:30 (for the 5:30 parade).

Of course weekend will have more people calling, but there are 2 tours on those days instead of 1, so it should balance out I'd think.

By the way, you need to call at 8AM, not 7AM. They don't answer the phone until 8:00 (or 8:02 in my experience). Will your 7AM meeting be over by 8 or so?

Thanks!! We are doing this one this year too. I have the flier at home, now I just need to call and book it. :) I'm not sure if we are doing it on our Nov or Dec trip just yet but we are doing it! :)

One thing that is rather odd is that they are saying the tour that sees the 6:30 Holiday parade starts at 4:15- which is about 2 hours before the parade. But the tour that will see the 5:30 parade starts at 2:30 which is 3 hours before the parade. Kind of weird that one starts 3 hours before the parade and the other only 2.

Yes, that surprised me as well. Maybe the real time for the 5:30 parade is indeed 3:15. After all, I was told 4:45 before I was told 2:30, so it won't surprise me if I get told yet another new time when I pick up the tickets. Whatever the time, I'm there. :woohoo:
