Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs Claus

Good reminder…
I almost forgot to count the days and mark my calendar for my restaurant reservations for our Christmas trip…
(Planning a Christmas trip to DL as well as a trip to Tokio Disney in April is a little challenging…)

I am also waiting for more info about Christmas stuff… and Christmas stuff in the online store…(though the European Disney store is usually a disappointment anyways… but I don’t have to worry about customs…

I don’t think it’s in the cards for us, sadly. The main reason, it’s around $85/person and I looked at some videos from last year and see now that it’s way too fancy for my picky eater daughter and her picky eater friend who’s coming. They are 14 and 15 so adult prices. My husband also saw the sweet and savory options and didn’t like what he saw. Le sigh!!!

But besides that, logistically it won’t work because if they follow the days offered from last year then it won’t even be an option on our rest day which is a Sunday. :(

Did anyone do this last year at all? I do fancy it but was wondering if it’s more aimed at children with Santa and Mrs Claus being there :)

I did it last year, we had a great time but I wouldn't say it was aimed at children. We had 2 kids in our party, 4.5 and 2.5, they felt the food was too fancy for them. My friend and I really enjoyed the food and tea, our server was great with the kids when they started to get antsy.

Everyone gets time to go meet Santa and Mrs Claus for pictures and a chat with just their party. They were great and made sure to chat with my daughter and with me, so I didn't feel left out.

I went last year and would say it was aimed more at children. Every year my mom, sister and I go to a holiday tea at home and since we were at DL decided to try this one instead. When we were there I did notice there were more adults than kids and didn’t feel awkward at all being there as an adult. It was a cute and festive event and we got some good pictures with the Clauses. We had a fun time, but don’t have plans to try for a reservation this year.

Thank you very much both :)
