Holiday Slide Mount Progress :: SEE RETURN THREAD!!

Well...how many times have I started over.......well, let me assure you that you don't know thee answer.

But

St Patricks Day is done
Slide Mounts and die cuts for Christmas are done and have to have pop dotted on (is that a word?)
4th of July - I bought slide mounts and now have to be embellish.

I hope to mail by Thursday.

Will post after I leave PO.

I am hoping y'all are liking the candy crusted cardstock.

I have about 8 pages of the wedding album I'm making done... not anything smashing because she isn't a scrapper...but its something I wanted to do with her..and she'll hopefully like it.. if not ... my BIL will... but that's because he likes me... LOL

I noticed July 15th is the mail by date.. that is SUNDAY... Make that a mail by date of July 16th..
Sorry for that.. see what I get when I lay things on top of my calendar.. and too boot probably had the calendar still flipped on JUNE!

I will mail back on July 23.. seeing as how July 22 is MY birthday and a Sunday.. mail won't be going out that day! Sorry..

Yes, it was way passed my bedtime!!! I was still working on that wedding album... a few more pages to finish today...

Of course I went to town to get the ribbon I wanted to use and forgot it..because I had to go to a Mike's because J's didn't have the crop-a-dile..but I got to use my 40% off coupon and actually got it cheaper than the sale price at J's...

I actually came up w/ a cute but simple idea.. but than got upset at Jo's for not having what I needed and left the ribbon I found in the cart when we left.. So, I have to go back and get it this weekend... But I'm going to cut my slides and assemble the one tomorrow.. Yep, tomorrow.. can't fit it in today.. I have 3 more pages to complete for that gift album on Saturday..

well that idea was a bust!
No Dad type brads or other who-hahs out there besides BBQ stuff. But I did remember that I had some grandfather and Father type buttons, however I did not have enough. So I'm shlepping the monsters out to Mike's first thing tomorrow, and come hell or high water I will be mailing them out on Friday. Going to Lisa's for the day Sat so I can't mail them then.

I did get the paper and other dumaflotchies for the Shows and parades, and Epcot, and zoo tag stuff. So I guess it was a good day after all. Had to deal with my obnoxious brother all day but that my friends is another thread.

I have my mounts cut..and in stacks..awaiting the ribbon which is on the shelf at J's.. and than will come home and take care of those on Monday.. Don't have time today.. I have to get to the grocery or we won't be eating.. and Sunday I have to get more paper so I'll grab everything that direction then.
Next week is going to be a busy week.. I need to finish the mounts..and than finish my paper bag albums.. I have my ideas and am ready to go...

I can't even take DD into the scrap store because she always gets me side tracked and I don't leave w/ what I need!

Finished all my slides, packed up and ready to go! We have a 24/7 post office on the way to work, so they'll be on the first truck out Monday morning.
