Love those French Connection dresses.... I still wear FC stuff I've had for years

Because i have rather large b00bies I usually go for v-neck type dresses so I was sooo surprised that they looked so good. (DH is the love it or hate it kinda person if he hates it there is no point in buying it as he just moans!) DH said to try them - i loved the colour but I wouldnt automatically have gone for the style.

I have been on slimming world for 4 weeks and lost 3or so lbs! so have decided that I am not going to go anymore, rather go for a bit of toning as i really only have half stone or so to lose and if i lose too much all my lovely clothes wont fit!

So another glass of wine for me then please

The white bits are cream droplets and the top bit of the dress is a chiffon type material.

They are gorgeous. I know what you mean about going for some different styles. I have been wearing styles and colours recently that I never would have considered before and to my surprise, they actually suit me.

Well my evening gown that I had custom made in China arrived yesterday. I had a bit of a surprise. I had ordered a blue and pink gown, but when I unpacked it, it was just baby blue. I was a bit disappointed at first until I had it completely out of its packaging. It is pretty much the same gown as in this photo:

It has loads of intricate embroidery and the photo really does not do it justice. This is the most beautiful item of clothing I ever owned. I can't wait to try it on later.

I've been lusting after these sandals in the local shoe sop window for a while now but didn't want to pay £50 for them.

So when the sale started I rushed to see if they were available - but none of this year's sandals were in reduced it was just the same old sandals that had been on sale last summer.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I popped into another shop on my way to the supermarket yesterday and there they were waiting for me. Reduced by £20 .
