This will be my 1st time during the holidays. I already added 3 days to my trip since I realized I need time to see all the holiday stuff.

What do you suggest I make sure to see? At the parks, resorts, stores? Day or night?

On my list so far.
Holiday storytellers,
CP
Osborne lights
Tour the MK resorts including WL.
MVMCP

Going solo, so can do commando.

Any suggestions?

Thanks:cloud9:

While you are at Epcot you must watch Santa and Mrs Claus at the American Pavillion. They are the greatest. We have no kids at home with us anymore, but we stand and watch them each and everytime we go at Christmas. They are the REAL Santa and Mrs. Claus

Regarding - Santa and Mrs Claus at the American Pavillion. Do you know if they are only there during certain hours - are they usually there during the day or in the evening as well?

I have two children who "still believe" and would love to have pictures taken...trying to figure out what time of day to visit Epcot WS. Thanks so much for the information!

I don't know their schedule, but each time we have seen them it has been in the early afternoon. Do you know they do this for nothing. Somewhere on one of the chat rooms I visited they know the people and told us this. When you see them they are so much like the pictures you walk away thinking there really is a Santa. What really impressed us the first time we saw them, there was a mentally handichapp boy there to see Santa. I would guess he was around 12. they took so much time with him both Santa and Mrs Claus, no pushing thim through. They talked with him, he sat on Santa's lap, etc.. When he got to leave he gave Santa the biggest bear hug and a hug for Mrs. Santa to. His parnet were crying as was evryone standing there.

The Singing Campers in Camp Minnie Mickey at AK. Cute and fun!

Hoilday songs and decorations, stage show is same.:wave2:

I have to put in a good word for the cleverly decorated Christmas trees over at Camp Minnie Mickey at AK. The trees were not necessarily decorated with character ornaments, but the colors and designs were enough to let you know which character it was meant to represent.

I still wish that they had sold the Tiki Stitch ornaments that they had on the Stitch trees. Maybe one day......

We loved the tree lighting at Epcot. They do a little fun show with the characters and CM's from many of the countries. Then the tree and the arch is lit. We think The best spot to stand is front, center, just slightly under the arch. When the arch is lit you can turn around and get the greatest effect.

Just don't miss the parades. They are so good. Here are my favorites from Christmas 2002.

MVMCP
Christmas Themed Parades
Gingerbread House at GF
Main Street in MK
The Weather in the afternoon was awesome

Gingerbread House at American Pavillion in Epcot. The Yuletide Fantasy tour, a great one it is. The Boardwalk Resort lobby, and really, all the resort lobbies, stunning. World of Disney at DtD.

Check the link in my signature, lots of pictures there. The one of Dec '02 has links at the end of each thread if I recall.
