Holiday mugging

I've just returned home from a nightmare holiday. I was mugged, suffering a broken elbow as a result, and want to know if I can claim compensation

Holiday Isle Resort Islamorada
stayed there for my vacation in July. i had the choice of a top resort in Key West or here at the Holiday Isle for the same price. Wish i chose the Key West Resort. Rooms were a dump with roaches everywhere. Maids barely cleaned the rooms each day. Ice was not available, unless you paid for it at thier convinence store. They never restocked the coffee for the coffeee maker. the pool area was filled with trash, beer bottles, drink cups, and test tube shot containers. The bar at the pool closes, and noone cleans up until the morning. If you want a more enjoyable vacation, for the value....... Go anywhere else!!!

Not nice Did you get a Police reference number?? IF so contact yur insurance company and get some claim forms, they will probably want the Police ref to pursue anything for you.

I bet if you were a US citizen it would be easier i really hope you do get something to make up for your trauma and wish you a speedy recovery,

Wow, sorry to hear about you being mugged. That is terrible. Did you notify the staff? They should have advised you on what to do. Can you call them and see what they suggest?
