I've read over and over about the Holiday Surcharges Disney places on some (?) TS locations, but am unsure what this means (other than paying more). Are these special meals? Will the menu be different than what we're seeing online?

I can wing it but really prefer to know if the meal provided will be edible for all family members when we're talking about the holidays - It's my parents, kids and myself and I want everyone to be happy & have no allergy issues. I have made reservations including notes to the chef of these issues, but it's nice when we can all partake of the regular meal provided. My Dad has already said if he can't eat the regular food he just won't come to dinner :(

Our TS locations for Christmas eve/day include 'Ohana (b'fst), WCC (lunch), Chef Mickey (dinner), Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner). Thanks for the help understanding!

From December 17-31 there will be an extra $4 per adult and an extra $2 per child (age 3-9) added to the price at all fixed-price restaurants (buffets, all you can eat, etc). Of the locations you listed, the higher price will apply to 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's and Liberty Tree Tavern (as it is dinner you reserved; it would not apply to lunch because lunch at Liberty Tree is a la carte).

The menus will not be any different (unless the restaurant has a special Christmas menu on the holiday itself). See this link http://allears.net/menu/men_christmas.htm
for current information on special menus.

These restaurants will prepare special food for allergies if it is necessary.
