hi all in the final planning stages for a jan 08 trip. can anyone recommend the holiday inn as a place to stay with our 6 year old? i want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly lol! :cutie: also can anyone who has stayed there please advise the easiest way to get there from CDG? thanks

Hi Missymoo,

Littlelizzie did a great review of this hotel which you can find here

I stayed there over the Christmas period 2006 and have included my thoughts in my trippie here.

IMHO its a nice hotel which could do with a facelift. Its comfortable and provides a good, close base to the park. Best of all it's cheap rates allowed us to spend a longer time at DLRP :goodvibes

Hope that helps and good luck with your choices. :thumbsup2

Is it cheap? I must be used to the dirt cheap prices of Santa Fe, because the difference in price when I looked was about £15 a night, with the on-site hotel cheaper.

thanks for your replies. littlelizzie's trip report is excellent , loads of info there. i would actually prefer a disney hotel i.e santa fe or chyenne but my problem is the rates are not loaded yet for jan 08 and i am afraid to wait and lose out on (what i think is) a great price at HI.. i am on a tight budget!

I have never been lucky enough to find any of the disney hotels cheaper than the HI :sad1: I paid 80 euros pn for my stay OVER Christmas last year (a room for 4 including breakfast). = £12 pppn

When I compared the prices they were at least a third more expensive so I can only assume the price variations kick in when the 'specials' apply to the disney hotels (kids free. 4 for 3 etc).

Its worth pricing all the off-site hotels and the cheaper budget disney ones based on what hildasmuriel has said though :thumbsup2

We landed at one of the smaller satellite terminals at CDG so opted to hire a taxi for 75 euros to get us the THI. the Disney shuttle buses run form the main terminal so it was quicker (and less hassle) to jump straight into a waiting taxi otside the doors. Its worth checking what terminal number your chosen airline lands at to make your decision.
