hi :wave2: well I am now thinking of staying at the holiday Inn as I found a price £45 a night which is just to good to ignore. My Dad also works for the holiday Inn so maybe if I get him to book for us as an employer we may get a discount or free room upgrade. No harm in trying.

well now for the questions.. My main concern about staying of sight is the buses. What are they like..Are they frequent though out the day and how busy are they? Would it be easy to go back to the hotel after the park and than go back out in the evening to the Disney Village?

Breakfast.. is it worth paying extra for breakfast or should we grab something from the park?

do the rooms have a Mini bar? (just wondering..we like to have a snack and a drink while my daughters asleep)

What are the TV channels like? I presume there is no Disney Channel?

Whats the Disney shop like?

sorry for all the questions, hope some one can help me.

The bus is really easy to use they run at least every 30 mins we tend to go and come at least twice a day.

If you can get a good price for room and breakfast i would do it as it is one of the very few places where you get a hot and cold brreakfast. I wouldn't pay the 16 euros each they are charging be if you can get the room for 10/15 euros more with b'fast I woul go for it.

There is a kettle, tea and coffee sachets but no mini bar.

very small

I cant help about the TV there were spanish and german channels and that was wht we watched I think there was the disney channel in french but I am not 100% sure
I hope it helped

Hi, we havn't been yet but will be staying at the Holiday inn at the end of May, we booked because it worked out as the cheapest option, we have opted for breakfast as the room rate with breakfast wasn't that much more and i have read that the breakfasts here are very good.
Also for us the option of a pool was good as we will have a day where we are not at the parks so will be good for us and the kids to have a swim!
I also liked the look of the hotel with the circus theme and the rooms with bunk beds with a seperate telly and curtain for the children.
I'm sure there is a disney channel have read it somewhere!

Will be interested to see other answers to this thread, one of the questions i had was whether their was tea/coffee in the rooms!

Liz

The shuttle timetable can be found (thanks to Bexx) here
I found the shuttles reliable and not crowded, but it was a fairly quiet time. My impression was that the service has improved since we were last there in Sep.

Only the Executive rooms have a minibar, see here for room ameneties. There are ice machines on all floors so you can cool down your own drinks if you buy them outside.

I'd recommend getting the breakfast - it's certainly better than average. When we were there last they were offering a 2-for-1 breakfast deal for 15 Euros, but no guarantee that will be available when you go, so I'd recommend booking in advance.

i am also thinking of staying at the holiday inn with the kids, at xmas or bonfire time, dh now refuses to go back, but the kids literally cry themselves to sleep asking when we can go back, i have told dh that i will work extra hours and go, depending on flights etc, but we would stay at the holiday inn, as from what we saw when we where there in march the buses were empty and our buses to the cheyenne was bursting.friends have stayed and said it was great.

What a great price.

When we stayed at HI we definitely used shuttle to take a break from the park.

Personally unless the breakfast is part of your rate I'd suggest McD or the park since we were completely unimpressed with the breakfast fayre :confused3
