Holiday Inn Sunspree

Hi All!
We're going on our first trip to Walt Disney World later this summer, and the first night we'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Sunspree. I have a few quick questions and was wondering if someone could answer them for me--on their website, they say they have transportation to the parks, is it reliable? Has anyone used this service? Secondly, if I use this service, will I be able to use Disney transportation to get around Disney property even if we haven't bought our tickets yet? The only reason I ask is that we'll check in early to the the Sunspree, and have the rest of the day to sit around. (And I can only sit at a pool for so long!) I'd like to go to DTD, but I'm not sure how to get there if I don't have a car--taxi? Walk? Shuttle and walk? Anyhow, any relpy would be great, thanks for taking the time to read this long message!

Holiday Inn Sunspree is really close to DTD. I would take a cab.

We stayed there 3 years ago but didnt use the transportation as we had a rental but everything I have read about outside hotel bus transportation leaves a lot to be desired.

Even if they had convienient times for you - you would have to take the bus to Transport and ticket center and then another bus to DTD. I bet it would take around an hour to kind of bring you back in a circle towards the direction you originally came from.
